YACHT LOAFER

YACHT LOAFER

It was back in the 1970s that Renzo Rossetti invented the first footwear to be worn “sockless”, replacing the leather lining with sponge.

This unconventional approach went hand-in-hand with the provocative moves of designers at the time, who were starting to dare to do away with the use of the undershirt in men's clothing.
The result was the Yacht, a type of shoe “so logical it seemed it had always existed”. Today, the Yacht is back with a more tapered style but retaining its unmistakable features: the breathable green sponge lining, the thin and ultra-light sole and the soft insole. The Yacht has always symbolised a lifestyle that is free and casual yet elegant.
