BRERA

Brera

Brera is the Milan’s “artists neighbourhood” where, in the ’60’s, sculptors, painters and writers used to struggle to make their mark with new languages and new forms.
Its liberal and unprejudiced atmosphere was the source of inspiration of the “Brera”, the tasselled loafer, a style revolution in a country that was only just starting to recover its love of life.
As an artistic composition, Brera combines different materials and colours. The special combination of materials and forms makes the Brera one of the most successful chapters in the Fratelli Rossetti story.
